Doctors at the hospital where the baby was born proclaim the baby as the biggest they have ever seen.

The woman, Svetlana Tagantseva, 28 gave birth to a baby boy who weighed 6.75 kilos or 15 pounds and stands at 62 cm tall. Now that’s big!

“He looks like he is six months old already! He can hardly fit into the beds in the newborn department here. Other kids that lie next to him are so tiny in comparison to him,” doctors say smiling.

The baby is Svetlana’s third (large) child. She also has two children who were large at birth.

If you guessed that the baby would have been too large to come out, you’re right – Doctors delivered him via Cesarean section, and they say the baby would have broken the mother’s bones if he were to come out the normal way!

I think the baby might grow up to be a giant…
