<ul>
<li>Lie down. Tilt your head backwards and open your mouth wide.</li>
<li>Eat a<strong> slice of lemon</strong> saturated with something bitter, like dandelion juice.</li>
<li>Drink a glass of <strong>warm water</strong> while standing, and burp away (fastest method).</li>
<li>Drink a glass of warm water, and hold down your ears by pressing the flesh in front of the ears (or have someone close your ears for you).</li>
<li>Stand in front of a mirror and take short, shallow breaths. At the same time, insert a cool spoon handle into your mouth to touch the uvula until the hiccups go away.</li>
