A frog marriage
Posted on July 27th, 2009 No commentsI used to recall fairy tales about a princess kissing a frog and turning it into a prince. Well, what happens when BOTH the prince and princess are….er frogs? Well, check out these pics of a frog marriage made in….where else, but India.
The marriage between Ram and Sita in a village near Kolkata was arranged supposedly to bring back monsoon rains which have gone missing with all that wonky weather we all now have (worldwide in fact)….
Ok, I now pronounce you husband and wife….the groom may now kiss the bride….

UFOs depicted in old paintings?
Posted on July 23rd, 2009 2 commentsUFOs or ETs have been a popular part of our culture as humanity, it seems, since the past tens of thusands of years, at least. Well, that is what these collection of old paintings seem to imply. If early people could depict ETs in their paintings, then we have to ask, just where did they get these “ideas” from?
Or was it that they were also witnessing or having encounters of a strange kind just like many so-called “kooky” people who claimed to have seen UFOs today? These folks might be labeled strange, but so are these paintings below! Read the rest of this entry »

Huge floating mass of goo off Alaska
Posted on July 16th, 2009 No commentsThere is a huge mass of floating “goo” in the sea off Alaska that has locals and the US Coast Guard baffled. Call it goo or blob or gunk, this stuff is dark and thick, and can be seen for miles away. The US Coast Guard has ruled out an oil spill or some other hazardous substance, but the nobody really knows what this stuff is. Read the rest of this entry »

Stripeless white tiger
Posted on July 14th, 2009 No commentsWhite tigers. You might have seen them in circuses and thought they were freaks of nature, but really, they are just a rare form of tiger, and when you have one without stripes, it can’t get rarer than that.
A white Bengal tiger was recently born without any stripes in South Africa. The 6 month old cub named Fareeda, is the offspring of 2 white Bengal tigers. I used to think white Bengal tigers were albino but actually they used to naturally occur in northern India, although still very rare at that. Most of the white tigers have been carefully inbred to preserve the line. Read the rest of this entry »

DIY circumcision
Posted on July 10th, 2009 No commentsA young man in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, UK, had to be hospitalized after performing a DIY circumcision on himself.
“This is something we would advise men never to attempt,” a medic said.
“The results can be quite horrific and long-lasting and have quite an affect on a man’s sexual performance.”

Posted on June 28th, 2009 No commentsA mutant piglet born in Thailand to a grocery shop owner and which died shortly after birth, has been viewed by some as the incarnation of the Hindu god Ganesha, an elephant headed deity of the Hindu religion.
The piglet was born with a “trunk” and protruding eyes, while also being white in color, a striking difference compared to all the other regular piglets. Read the rest of this entry »

Crop circle said to predict end of the world
Posted on June 24th, 2009 No commentsCrop circles have always generated controversy, as some believe they are made by UFOs while others think they are just works of art by pranksters tramping down wheat and barley crops in the middle of the night (it has been proven that some are pranks). No matter what, crop circles have been occuring for many years in the fields of England up till now.
The latest crop circle of a phoenix rising from the ashes in a field in Wiltshire, England, has been interpreted as depicting the end of the world. The end of the world is said to be forecast by the ancient Mayans because their calender stops at December 21, 2012. Read the rest of this entry »
