In the Congo region, there is a vast swamp, 55,000 square miles in size (142,500 sq km), called the Likouala Swamp, supposedly the largest area of marshland jungle in the world. There have been persistant tales of large beasts roaming this jungle dating back hundreds and hundreds of years. European travellers who ventured into this region heard tales from the natives who describe a monster that resembles the brontosaurus, or some other sauropod dinosaur.

Mokele-mbembe means “one who stops the flow of rivers.” It would not be hard to imagine a monster measuring over 9 meters long blocking a small river, and terrorizing the natives of that area. I would be frightened too, if I came across one.

But, despite alleged sightings of the monster and footprints, plus numerous expeditions, no conclusive evidence has yet been obtained of Mokele-mbembe till today. The closest footage that I know of, is that of a blurry picture taken by a Japanese expedition in 1992. The crew were flying over a lake called Lake Tele (in the Likouala region), and spotted an object swimming in the lake and leaving a V-shaped wake behind.The object swam for 15 seconds before disappearing underneath the water.

It can be argued that that object is a boat with two men rowing it, or a large hippo, or an elephant swimming, though.

A 2006 expedition by Milt Macy did come across several eyewitnesses, but nothing conclusive was obtained. So did expeditions in 2008 and 2009.

One thing is for certain, the mystery of Mokele-mbembe continues to tantalize those among us who carry on the hope that perhaps, somewhere, in some remote part of the world, the descendents of dinosaurs continue to roam. Let’s hope that they don’t just roam in our imaginations only.

Sure it looks weird, but then again, it could just be some very high tech aircraft sporting some very high tech technology that can create such an effect in the sky.

I do believe there are a lot of high tech stuff out there which are the result of clandestine government research all this while. Entirely possible.

Another rational possibility is they are hole punch clouds.

The accepted theory all this while is that Hitler and his mistress Eva Braun’s body was wrapped, taken outside the bunker by his generals, placed in a bomb crater, doused with petrol, and burnt. But this finding reopens the mystery again. Did Hitler really die in that bunker?

The piece of skull was taken by Russian soldiers outside Hitler’s bunker and preserved all these years. Apparently the body which the skull belonged to had teeth that matched Hitler’s dental records, acording to former Hitler dentists. But recently, American researchers from the University of Connecticut got the chance to perform some tests on the skull fragment and determined the skull belongs to a woman aged between 20-40 years old.

“The bone seemed very thin; male bone tends to be more robust. And the sutures  where the skull plates come together seemed to correspond to someone under 40,” said university archeologist Nick Bellantoni.

Bellantoni flew to Moscow to get DNA samples and was also shown the bloodstained sofa on which Hitler and his mistress Eva Braun supposedly killed themselves.

Back in USA, the DNA samples were tested using the same methods used by forensic crime labs. To their surprise, the DNA results did not match Hitler’s.

So, if Hitler did not die on that fateful day, then what happened to him? He is probably dead by now; he was 56 in 1945. But did he “fake his own death” and lived out the rest of his days on the beach? That is the question.

Take a look for yourself. Does this look like MJ? The funny thing is that the nose of the statue is disintegrating, just like MJ’s nose was, due to his numerous plastic surgeries. Now, that is weird.

Or was it that they were also witnessing or having encounters of a strange kind just like many so-called “kooky” people who claimed to have seen UFOs today? These folks might be labeled strange, but so are these paintings below!

This old cave painting aged circa 10,000 BC  in Val Camonica, Italy, shows some men in strange suits holding some strange objects. Astronauts? But isn’t that like, 12,000 years ago?

The substance has appeared out of nowhere in the Chukchi Sea, which is somewhere near Alaska. In places, it is up to 15 miles long. It looks hairy, and maybe it could be some unknown form of algae or bacteria colony, that so far has lived at the bottom of that dark and cold ocean, but at this point, nobody knows what it is.

“From the air it looks brownish with some sheen, but when you get close and put it up on the ice and in the bucket, it’s kind of blackish stuff and has hairy strands on it,” said Gordon Brower of the North Slope Borough’s planning department.

Samples of the substance have been taken to Anchorage for testing, but the results will only be known sometime next week.

The latest crop circle of a phoenix rising from the ashes in a field in Wiltshire, England, has been interpreted as depicting the end of the world. The end of the world is said to be forecast by the ancient Mayans because their calender stops at December 21, 2012.

The phoenix is a mythical bird that symbolizes death and rebirth, so crop circle fans are all abuzz that this could be a message from aliens about what would happen after 2012.

So, is it true at all that the world will close shop on and after that day? I don’t think so, but there “might” be changes on a large scale affecting the world, socially, globally, and politically.  Maybe nothing will happen too, and wouldn’t that be a major “disappointment” for doomsday enthusiasts?

The force of the blast is estimated to be around 5.o on the Richter scale, and equivalent to 10-15 megatons of TNT (or 1000 times more powerful than the Hiroshima bomb). Luckily no one was killed because the blast happened in an uninhabited area.

But mystery still surrounds the event right until today. Some speculate that the Tunguska Event was a natural release of gas from within the earth, others a natural H bomb or secret military experiment. Still others think the Tunguska was a piece of antimatter or a small black hole.

Now a Russian scientist says an alien spacecraft crashed into the meteorite to save the earth. Yuri Labvin says quartz slabs with strange markings found at the area are the remains of an alien control panel, which fell to the ground after the UFO crashed into it.

“We don’t have any technologies that can print such kind of drawings on crystals,” Labvin told the Macedonian International News Agency. “We also found ferrum silicate that can not be produced anywhere, except in space.”

Frankly to me, this is most likely just an odd boulder and not an alien skull. But you be the judge.
