Are there dinosaurs still among us?

The question of whether dinosaurs still roam this planet crops up now and then, and I myself still wonder whether about this. Take for instance the persistant rumor of dinosaurs roaming the Congo swamp, or in the native language, they call such a creature, Mokele-mbembe.

In the Congo region, there is a vast swamp, 55,000 square miles in size (142,500 sq km), called the Likouala Swamp, supposedly the largest area of marshland jungle in the world. There have been persistant tales of large beasts roaming this jungle dating back hundreds and hundreds of years. European travellers who ventured into this region heard tales from the natives who describe a monster that resembles the brontosaurus, or some other sauropod dinosaur. Read the rest of this entry »

Strange cloud formation in Moscow

Here is a strange cloud formation that was spotted recently in Moscow, Russia.

Sure it looks weird, but then again, it could just be some very high tech aircraft sporting some very high tech technology that can create such an effect in the sky.

I do believe there are a lot of high tech stuff out there which are the result of clandestine government research all this while. Entirely possible.

Another rational possibility is they are hole punch clouds.

Did Hitler kill himself?

World War 2 ended 64 years ago, and yet there are still many unsolved mysteries. One of them is, did Adolf Hitler kill himself? While we are all told that the dictator shot himself after taking cyanide during the final phases of the Russian capture of Berlin on April 30, 1945, new evidence have emerged that Hitler may not have shot himself. Apparently, the skull that is supposedly Hitler’s is that of a woman aged below 40. It is not Hitler’s skull!

The accepted theory all this while is that Hitler and his mistress Eva Braun’s body was wrapped, taken outside the bunker by his generals, placed in a bomb crater, doused with petrol, and burnt. Egyptian statue looks like Micheal Jackson

Did Micheal Jackson model his appearance after an Egyptian statue? This story is making the rounds after people noticed that a particular bust of a female that lived 3000 years ago, and is presently sitting in the Field Museum in Chicago, bears an uncanny resemblance to MJ….at least in the later “version” of his plastic surgery incarnations.

Take a look for yourself. Does this look like MJ? The funny thing is that the nose of the statue is disintegrating, just like MJ’s nose was, due to his numerous plastic surgeries. Now, that is weird.

Odd statue on Mars?

Take a look at this odd rock formation that appears to be….what do you know, a statue on Mars? Upon close inspection, it looks a little similar to this Egyptian statue or maybe one of the Bamyan Buddhas in Afghanistan (before) they were destroyed by the Taliban in 2001.

UFOs depicted in old paintings?

UFOs or ETs have been a popular part of our culture as humanity, it seems, since the past tens of thusands of years, at least. Well, that is what these collection of old paintings seem to imply. If early people could depict ETs in their paintings, then we have to ask, just where did they get these “ideas” from?

Huge floating mass of goo off Alaska

There is a huge mass of floating “goo” in the sea off Alaska that has locals and the US Coast Guard baffled. Call it goo or blob or gunk, this stuff is dark and thick, and can be seen for miles away. Crop circle said to predict end of the world

Crop circles have always generated controversy, as some believe they are made by UFOs while others think they are just works of art by pranksters tramping down wheat and barley crops in the middle of the night (it has been proven that some are pranks). No matter what, crop circles have been occuring for many years in the fields of England up till now.

The latest crop circle of a phoenix rising from the ashes in a field in Wiltshire, England, has been interpreted as depicting the end of the world. The end of the world is said to be forecast by the ancient Mayans because their calender stops at December 21, 2012. Read the rest of this entry »

Another theory about the Tunguska Event

The Tunguska Event was a huge explosion that occured on June 30, 1908 in a remote part of Siberia, that flattened about 2100 sq kilometers of forest, or roughly 830 sq miles., and is widely believed to be a meteorite airburst which exploded several miles above ground.

The force of the blast is estimated to be around 5.o on the Richter scale, and equivalent to 10-15 megatons of TNT (or 1000 times more powerful than the Hiroshima bomb). Luckily no one was killed because the blast happened in an uninhabited area.

But mystery still surrounds the event right until today. Some speculate that the Tunguska Event was a natural release of gas from within the earth, others a natural H bomb or secret military experiment. Alien skull spotted on Mars

An alien skull was supposedly ‘spotted’ on Mars after NASA recently beamed back images from the Red Planet. Although it shows just a desert, a piece of rock in the center of the photo appears to have the appearance of eye sockets and a ‘nose.’ Take a look:
