Posted on December 27th, 2009 No commentsGames these days are so addictive. I’m not a player of Grand Theft Auto (GTA), but a woman in Boston could not get her 14 year old son to stop playing the game and go to bed, and finally resorted to calling the cops.
The police who answered her call at around 2:30 am fortunately agreed to help, and persuaded the boy to wind his game up and go to sleep. Read the rest of this entry »

Man jailed for yawning
Posted on August 24th, 2009 No commentsA man was jailed for 3 weeks because he yawned too loudly during a court sentencing of his cousin who was on trial for a drug offense, in which he was just a spectator. Incredible, what goes on these days.
Clifton Williams, 33, of Richton Park, was sentenced to jail after Judge Daniel Rozak found him “guilty of contempt of court.” Williams was initially jailed for 6 months, but the judge ordered him released after 3 weeks.
The judge did have the courtesy to tell Williams that he wasn’t jailed for yawning, but for making a sound “that was offensive to the court” while “raising his hands” at the same time.
Now if yawning can get you in trouble, you have to wonder, what’s next?

“This is something we would advise men never to attempt,” a medic said.
“The results can be quite horrific and long-lasting and have quite an affect on a man’s sexual performance.”

Dangerous bridge
Posted on June 14th, 2009 No commentsThis is one of the most dangerous bridges I have ever come across. Cross at your own risk. It looks like it’s somewhere in Central Asia. Who uses this bridge? It’s probably safer to just take a boat across.

Unfortunately for him, doctors told him he needs to wait 6-8 months before any attempt to undo the surgery can be made. Yikes!

The incident happened in a Singapore park where the couple met after work. Not only that, but the 30 year old woman’s husband was already suspecting her of having an affair, and sent a private investigator to tail her. Read the rest of this entry »
