Killer rabbits kill snakes

Think rabbits are cute and cuddly? Think again. Wild rabbits have been found to have been killing snakes in Cairns, Australia.

Armando Del Manso was wondering what creature was killing snakes which turned up dead on his lawn, each morning, for weeks. The snakes had been viciously bitten to death, and he thought it was his dog that was responsible.

But he was surprised to see a pair of wild rabbits attacking a snake one Tuesday night, easily killing the snake in minutes. Read the rest of this entry »

Isopods – Tongue eating fish parasites

This is one nasty creature – It burrows into fish and eats out their tongue and then takes its place. Called isopods, they are crustaceans with seven pairs of legs and some species can be half a meter long (50 cm)! Most species are just about 1 inch long though (fortunately).

Fishermen near the island of Minquiers, near Jersey, one of the Channel Islands, found an isopod inside a weaver fish.

Black woman has white children

A black woman in Brazil has stunned everyone by having 3 children who are all ash white. Actually they are supposed to be albinos, but I still think its odd that they resemble some Scandinavian kids and have next to no resemblance to their parents

The Butter Bridge to stop suicides
