Chihuahua dog blown away by wind and reunited with owners
Posted on April 29th, 2009 No commentsA chihuahua dog was blown away by a strong gust of wind but thankfully found again and reunited with her owners. Pint sized Tinker Bell who only weighs 6 pounds was carried off by 70 mph winds in Watford Township, near Detroit, while standing on a platform at her owner’s outdoor flea market stall.
Dorothy and Lavern Utley credit a pet psychic for guiding them on Monday to a wooded area nearly a mile from where 8-month-old Tinker Bell had been last seen. The brown long-haired dog was dirty and hungry but otherwise OK.
Tinker Bell was obviously very glad to be reunited with her owners again.
Chihuahuas are dimunitive dogs that are the SMALLEST breed of dogs in the world. They usually stand not more than 10 inches tall, and weigh not more than 6 pounds. They are named after the state of Chihuahua in Mexico.
