Florida teen suspended from bus for passing gas
Posted on March 24th, 2009 No commentsAn 8th grade student in Florida was suspended from riding the school bus for 3 days, after he farted on the bus and “made the other children laugh; creating a stench so bad that it was difficult to breathe,” according to the bus driver.
Although there are no rules for passing gas (after all it comes naturally), there are rules for causing disturbance on the bus, so say the school authorities. Read the rest of this entry »

Fountain bridge in South Korea
Posted on March 16th, 2009 No commentsThe Banpo Bridge in South Korea is the world’s first fountain bridge. With about 10,000 nozzles running both sides of the bridge and spraying water at a rate of 190 tons a minute, it is really a nice site to behold, especially at night. It draws water from the Han river, which it spans and has been targeted as a tourist destination.
Might even cause some motorists to get distracted, resulting in accidents (hope not).

A toad and a koi
Posted on March 11th, 2009 No commentsAwww. Just two pics that I thought were cute. A tired (maybe lazy) toad hitches a ride on a koi carp fish, almost blocking its view. But I think the koi carp doesn’t mind too much.
Reminds me of the song by the Hollies….He ain’t heavy, he’s my brother….

A dog as a wife
Posted on March 10th, 2009 No commentsFancy marrying a dog and having her as your wife? In India, a group of tribal elders have married a male toddler to a female dog, in order to prevent his “predicted” death by mauling from a tiger.

Finding human teeth in a wallet
Posted on March 6th, 2009 1 commentA man shopping in Wal-Mart for a new wallet found more than he bargained for – He found 10 human teeth inside the wallet too.
The man was shopping for a wallet when he pulled one up and unzipped it, and out came 10 human teeth. He turned the wallet over to Wal-Mart employees and left without giving his name. Guess he was too freaked out. Read the rest of this entry »
