Grandma keeps on trying driving test after failing 771 times

A 68 year old grandmother in South Korea has already failed her driving test 771 times, but keeps on trying. The grandma identified only as Cha, has taken the test almost every working day since 2005.

According to the police sergeant supervising her test, her scores for the written section of the test were only averaging 30-50, whereas the passing score is 60 out of 100.

Cha wants to get a car to carry on her business of selling food and household items. The police estimate that she has spent some $3600 so far on her driving tests.

Now that’s the spirit. After 771 times, what’s stopping the 772nd  time (and so forth)?
